When it comes to seeking out affordable – and inspiring – contemporary art, it can be hard to know where to begin. Thankfully, Collagerie, the online platform known for curating the most tasteful edit of homeware and fashion, has launched The Art Shop. ‘We asked 15 artists who don’t usually do prints to create an exclusive print for Collagerie. We were thrilled because they all wanted to participate and they all have such distinct styles,’ says Lucinda Chambers, co-founder of the platform. ‘They’re all printed on incredible giclée paper and we found an amazing framer in Somerset – everything is absolutely the best of the best.’
The limited-edition prints will all be on display, and available to buy, at 8 Holland Street in Kensington until the 8th April, providing a rare opportunity to see the prints in the flesh. We especially love ‘Carnation’ by Emily Monckton (above, bottom left), aka The Full Montage, who creates digital collages from vintage and contemporary images and the Art Nouveau reminiscent ‘Antheia’ by New York-based artist Nina Pace (below).
Prices start at £100 for an unframed A4 print.
