Dulux Heritage brings together historic colour research and expertly created paint formula. It's part of Dulux's broader brand, but focuses on a higher quality finish, making it an excellent choice for smaller, more specialist upcycling or home renovation projects.
What is Delux Heritage?
Created in 1990, Dulux Heritage is a range of paints by Dulux, specialising in luxurious, rich colours, perfect for period homes. The range has been carefully curated with the help of Patrick Baty, a colour historian and paint analyst who assisted in finding the perfect paint colours inspired by history.
The best Dulux Heritage paint colours
With more than 100 colours to choose from, Dulux Heritage is all about offering a timeless palette that is inspired by heritage shades, but works perfectly in busy, modern homes. There are two paints in the range – Heritage Velvet Matt and Heritage Eggshell.
To achieve a contemporary spin on a period look, try matching up one of the brand’s rich, bold heritage colours with a complementary muted neutral, for example, pairing Florentine Red with Candle Cream.
For the coming season, look to the rich, deep DH Oxford Blue for a dark statement look, or Sage Green for a sophisticated take on the continuing trend for green shades.
Romney Wool offers a light, versatile shade to give any era of home a clean, fresh makeover and it makes for a crisp, neutral canvas on which you can layer bolder furnishings and decor.
