After a bumper year of auctions resulted in overall sales of £17million in 2017, Fellows have been announced as the UK's leading regional auctioneer. This is according to Antiques Trade Gazette, who ran its annual auction report regarding the success of regional auction houses in 2017.
With bases in Birmingham and London, alongside a thriving calendar of online sales, Fellows have dominated the watch and jewellery market in recent years - a field of antique collecting that has continued to grow in popularity.
Fellows' recent successes in this market have knocked Salisbury-based auctioneers Woolley & Wallis from the Antiques Trade Gazette top-spot. Including the sale of a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss (pictured above), which reached a hammer price of £139,400 and shattered an in-house record for watches. And the sale of a Fancy Intense Yellow diamond ring by Graff Diamonds (pictured above) for £1,307,600 in December 2017.
