Taking place on 8th March, International Women's Day celebrates the achievements of women across the world - whether social, political, economic, cultural - and explores how we can strive for gender equality. This year, Art on a Postcard is celebrating this important day with its first all-female charity auction and exhibition in partnership with female members club AllBright.

Art on a Postcard has curated a selection of original, postcard-sized, artworks by empowering female artists to be auctioned online at Paddle8.com from 27th February–11th March. The list of outstanding female artists has been chosen from those whose work has transformed stereotypes and made a significant impact on society.

The reserve price for all of the small paintings on offer is £50 - so bidders stand the chance of picking up an original piece for a fraction of the usual price. Plus, money from the sale will go to The Hepatitis C Trust: a charity helping to eliminate hepatitis C in women's prisons.
